Long Island
Long Island is the closest island to the mainland, and as suggested by the name, is 9km long while only being 400m wide at its widest point! Long Island is mostly national park and has 13km of walking trails to explore the plentiful native flora and fauna on this dramatic natural landscape. Surrounded by secluded bays and expansive coral fringing reefs great for snorkelling and beachcombing, Long Island is a quiet paradise for visitors seeking seclusion and tranquility. Palm Bay Resort

Palm Bay Resort is a beautiful boutique resort nestled in the neck of Long Island with their very secluded private cove, the resort offers spacious Balinese inspired villas. It is the only self-catering resort in the Whitsundays offering guests a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals.
Moorings are available on application should you wish to access the resort facilities.
Guests are requested to respect the resort’s philosophy of privacy and intimacy.
Smart casual attire must be worn.
Daydream Island

Daydream Island is a favourite destination for those seeking relaxation and adventure. Guests can explore the Living Reef, a unique man-made lagoon teeming with over 100 species of marine life, or enjoy activities like snorkelling, paddleboarding, and hiking. With fine dining, and panoramic views of the Coral Sea, Daydream Island is a must-visit stop in any Whitsundays itinerary.
One public mooring is located on the north-west side of the island and suitable only in light winds. The resort charges a per-person landing fee to go ashore.
Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island offers over 60 activities, and has a number of bars and restaurants, retail outlets and a variety of water sports and tours to experience. Located on the marina side of the island is the marina village precinct offering a newsagency, IGA supermarket, bottle shop and retail outlets, while the opposite of the island is where you will find the resorts and Catseye Beach.
Get active with some go-kart racing or a jet ski tour, cuddle a koala at the wildlife park, or tee off with a round of golf on the island’s very own 18-hole championship course, located on neighbouring Dent Island.
Guests are welcome to book a day or overnight berth in the marina and use the resort facilities. We recommend booking berths in advance to avoid disappointment. During race week (August) the marina is closed to visitors. A berth over Christmas and New Year is approx. $300.00 per night.
